Cooking is one of my favorite pastimes, and there’s nothing quite like a simple, delicious recipe that can bring flavor to the table without taking up too much of your time. One of my go-to dishes is the One Pan Green Beans, Mushrooms, and Shallots. It’s a vibrant and tasty side dish perfect for any meal. Here’s how you can make it!

One Pan Green Beans, Mushrooms, and Shallots

This dish is not only delightful in taste but also visually appealing. It combines the earthiness of mushrooms with the crunch of fresh green beans and the sweetness of shallots. Perfect for a family dinner or a gathering with friends, this recipe will impress everyone!

One Pan Green Beans, Mushrooms, and Shallots### Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar (optional, for an added depth of flavor)

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C). This high temperature will help caramelize the vegetables, enhancing their natural flavors.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the green beans, sliced mushrooms, and shallots. Drizzle the olive oil over the top, and add salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss everything together until the vegetables are well coated.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly on a large baking sheet. Make sure not to overcrowd the pan, as this will prevent the vegetables from roasting properly.
  4. If you enjoy a tangy twist, drizzle the balsamic vinegar over the vegetables before placing them in the oven.
  5. Roast the vegetables in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the green beans are tender and slightly charred. Stir the mixture halfway through cooking to ensure even roasting.
  6. Once done, remove the pan from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm as a delicious side dish!

This One Pan Green Beans, Mushrooms, and Shallots dish is a perfect way to add some greens to your meal while still being packed with flavor. I love how easy it is to prepare and how it can complement a variety of main courses. Enjoy!
